Joint Pain Treatment in Orlando: Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic by Dr. J
Joint pain is one of the most common reasons adults in Central Florida see a physician and one of the most undertreated. The standard path looks like this: NSAIDs for a while, cortisone shot when it gets worse, wait until it’s severe enough for surgery. Somewhere in the middle, patients are living with limitation, reducing activity, and accepting decline.
Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic exists to interrupt that pattern. I’m Dr. J an ABIM board-certified internal medicine physician with over 25 years of clinical experience in Central Florida. We offer physician-supervised, image-guided regenerative joint therapy: PRP, exosomes, PRF, and advanced protocols for the patients who don’t want to just wait for surgery.
What Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic Treats
Knee Osteoarthritis
Our most commonly treated condition. Knee OA affects an estimated 365 million people globally and is the leading cause of disability in older adults. PRP for knee OA has the strongest evidence base in regenerative joint medicine a 2024 meta-analysis from Mayo Clinic and the Hospital for Special Surgery (PMID: 38420745) showed PRP produced 2.19× better outcomes than hyaluronic acid across 1,993 patients, with significantly lower reintervention rates.
Hip Osteoarthritis
The second most common joint we treat. Image-guided hip PRP injection for moderate OA can meaningfully reduce pain and improve mobility often providing relief that allows patients to maintain physical activity while managing disease progression.
Shoulder Pain, Rotator Cuff and OA
Rotator cuff tendinopathy, glenohumeral OA, and AC joint pain all respond to targeted PRP injection. We use ultrasound guidance for all shoulder injections to ensure accurate intra-articular or intra-tendon placement.
Spine, Facet and SI Joints
Lumbar facet arthropathy, cervical facet pain, and sacroiliac joint dysfunction are common causes of back pain that respond to image-guided regenerative injection. PRP offers a non-steroid alternative to facet and SI joint management.
Ankle, Wrist, and Small Joints
Ankle OA, Achilles tendinopathy, wrist and thumb CMC joint OA, and inflammatory joint conditions in the hands are all treatable with targeted regenerative injection at Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic.
Tendinopathy Throughout the Body
Patellar tendinopathy (jumper’s knee), Achilles tendinopathy, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow), and plantar fasciitis PRP has substantial clinical evidence for tendinopathy management, generally showing superior long-term outcomes compared to cortisone.
What Makes Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic Different
Physician Evaluation for Every Patient
Every Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic patient is evaluated by Dr. J before treatment. Not a coordinator who reviews a form me, the physician. I review your imaging, your history, your prior treatments, your goals. The protocol recommendation comes from that evaluation.
Image-Guided Injection Every Time
All injections at Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic are performed under ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance. Accuracy matters PRP delivered to the wrong tissue is PRP that doesn’t work. Image guidance is how we ensure the growth factors reach the joint space.
Optimized High-Concentration PRP Protocol
Not all PRP is equal. Published research (PMC11874499) shows that platelet concentration significantly influences clinical outcomes. We use an optimized centrifugation protocol to achieve consistent high-platelet-concentration PRP. Lower-concentration preparations underperform.
Full Regenerative Menu
Some clinics offer only basic PRP. Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic offers PRP, PRF, exosome joint therapy, and combination protocols. For patients with advanced OA or partial response to PRP, we have clinical options not a single tool repeated regardless of response.
Honest Conversations
If your joint disease is at a stage where regenerative therapy is unlikely to provide meaningful benefit, I’ll tell you and refer you to orthopedic surgery. If you have realistic options for delaying or avoiding surgery with regenerative treatment, I’ll tell you that too. You deserve a physician who gives you the whole picture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need imaging before my first Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic appointment?
Bring whatever you have X-rays or MRI from prior evaluations are helpful but not required to schedule a consultation. If imaging is needed, we can advise on what to obtain. In some cases, ultrasound evaluation at the time of consultation provides sufficient information for immediate protocol recommendation.
What’s the difference between Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic and an orthopedic clinic?
Orthopedic clinics specialize in the full spectrum of musculoskeletal care, including surgery. Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic is a regenerative medicine practice we focus specifically on non-surgical regenerative approaches for joint pain. We complement orthopedic care rather than compete with it; many of our patients have an orthopedic surgeon who manages their overall joint health while we manage the regenerative injection protocol.
Can I see Dr. J for joint pain and also use other Dr. J clinic services?
Yes. Many Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic patients also receive care at Dr. J Anti-Aging Clinic, NuGrow, or other Dr. J brands. Weight management through GLP-1 programs reduces joint loading and significantly affects OA outcomes. IV therapy supports systemic recovery. Hormone optimization at perimenopausal age affects joint health. We think about the full patient picture, not just the affected joint.
What are the risks of PRP joint injection?
PRP uses your own blood the risk of allergic reaction or immune rejection is negligible. Risks include infection (rare with sterile technique), temporary post-injection pain flare (common, resolves in 24–72 hours), and bleeding/bruising at the injection site. PRP complications in published studies are mild to moderate and comparable to those of hyaluronic acid injections. We discuss all risks at consultation.
